My experience rafting with TRR was one of the best experiences of my life. I have wanted to raft the Lower Yough since I was 12 years old and first went to Ohiopyle, but never thought I would be able to. TRR accommodated my disability without making a big deal out of it, and made me feel both safe and an active participant in the trip. I was able to paddle as much as I was capable of, and had a rope tied into the raft to hang on to when I needed it. Ever since the trip, I have felt a big leap in my confidence. I feel much more capable of doing things outside my comfort zone. Next step: learning how to kayak in whitewater!
