3rd Annual Colorado Biathlon Recap!
Sunday May 10th TRR held it’s 3rd Annual Colorado Biathlon!
On the eve of the Biathlon Colorado decided to unleash a snowstorm that dropped nearly 6 inches of snow. Regardless of the weather we had 85 people participate!
These 85 people were comprised of Veterans and non- Veterans alike. We had participation from the:
US Air Force Academy (Official)
Ft Carson Warrior Transition Bn
Team River Runner Grand Junction
Team River Runner – Denver Chapter
Team River Runner Colorado Springs
As well as Veterans that came from all over the country sponsored by Welcome Home Montrose!
We had 4 heats of kayaks (And one BRAVE stand up paddle boarder), each heat consisting of about 16-18 kayaks.
We had blind paddlers Lonnie Bedwell & Steve Baskis both win their individual heats!!!!
